I am a technology entrepreneur and engineer based in Dubai. I co-founded AglaSem in 2009 with a batchmate from Delhi College of Engineering and ran it to 25 million monthly pageviews — one of India's largest education platforms, and the subject of a published management case study. I have since founded or directed four further companies across software engineering, remote assessment and brand positioning.

Operators rather than vendors: we run properties like Mobile Gaming Hub, FF Booyah and Roblox Master Guides at scale, and test what works there before recommending it to anyone. The company also built Test From Home, an AI-proctored remote examination platform, from nothing to production in three months as Indian universities lost their exam halls to COVID — a product we have since closed.

05 How I Work

Three positions, held long enough to have cost me something.

Building it and making it findable are the same job.

Most studios ship a product and hand the visibility problem to someone else a year later. By then the decisions that determined whether anyone would ever find it have already been made, in the code.

ii

Say when you do not know.

A guide that guesses at a fee is worse than no guide, because someone will budget from it. The same applies to engineering estimates.

Update rather than republish.

Facts change. A page that tracks them keeps one address and moves with reality, instead of leaving eight versions online, seven of them wrong.
